peeeps, help me!
I thinks i've removed the terminal program, ya know, the Darwin one.
It's supposed to be on the Utilities folder under apps right?
Well, it's not. And I can't find it at all!

Anyone here knows if there is another place there I can find it? (no, spotlight doesn't find anything, i've searched for ''Bash'' ''Command'' and ''Darwin''

PLEASE HELP ME!
is there anywhere that I can download the bash again?!

thanks

No worries. As the previous poster said, bash is one particular shell application, which is probably tucked safely away within the Unix file system (safely hidden from view of the Finder). What you likely misplaced is Terminal (Terminal.app) which is the Mac OS X program used to give you a text console through which you run the bash shell.

Spotlight should help you find it (search for "terminal"). If it is gone, you can get it back through reinstalling or copying from another installation. Or download a program like iTerm or something. Or ssh into your own box.

And even if bash was gone (if you were mucking around logged in as "root"), you could download and recompile another one. Or make do with other shells, like tcsh.

Unix - "it's so complicated, it's foolproof" 😀

Ignorance?! Nah, if you understood everything in that post, you'd be almost as much of a computer geek as me 😀

Good luck finding Terminal.app, I hope nothing bad happened to it 🙂

And at least up to now, I didn't had to use it, so i'm good.

Sooo, if someone has any idea of how I can get the Terminal back...
Thanks.
