So I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 6 and haven't had any issues. Then I went to update my apps and this message came up:

"Your account is not valid for use in the U.S. store. You must switch to the Canadian store before purchasing."

I checked my Account and it says its Canadian, so I'm confused as to what happened. Never had this issue before.

Anyone else experience this?

Hey mate,

so press on iTunes on your phone. Press down on the button with your e-mail on and choose "view apple id" or something like that. It should automatically switch you store.

Edit: corrected iTunes store to iTunes to make it clear that i do NOT mean "App store"

I updated my iPhone 3GS to iOS 6 and getting the same message. The funny part is it is allowing you to download the apple featured apps like iTunes'sU etc but in case of other apps its giving the MSG.

follow the link above it will tell you exactly what to do.

This question is really easy to research.

To solve the problem follow the instuction:

Method 1

Go to Settings
Go to iTunes & App Stores
Click on your Apple ID
In poped up window click Sign Out.
Fill your Apple ID and Password and press Sign In
Done. Now you will be able to download applications from App Store

Method 2 ( Thanks to Ami Hauptman )

In Settings>Appstore> click on your AppleId
Select "Show AppleId"
Click "Country\Region", then "Change Country or Region"
Select your country, then provide Credit Card info (typically you will only need the security code)
Complete this process
Go back to the AppStore. Should work fine by now
