About a week ago I was prompted on my iPhone (17.0.3) to add an Account Recovery code/contact - I added a code. I didn't think much of it, as it had been a long time since I added one.

This morning, my iPhone, iPad (17.0.3) and my iPad ALL have notices saying to add an Account Recovery code/contact. I added one on my iPhone after doing some Googling and seeing the procedures are pretty onerous to get rid of that erroneous message (sign out of iCloud, which I think will require repopulating all my iCloud data on the device when I sign back in).

However, even after adding 1 to my iPhone, my iPad and Mac still are asking even though I restarted them.

Anyone else seeing this? I assume it's a bug? Any easy fix? Thanks!

This notification doesn't even seem to work correctly. When I entered a recovery key generated on my Mac about 6 months ago, I get a message saying that it's incorrect. Re-generating a new one doesn't help.

Looks pretty messy. I hope these recovery codes work for their intended purpose.
