I am looking for some accounting type software. I have downloaded Gnucash but cannot get it running. I have also downloaded Fink, Fink commander and also xcode but still i cannot work out how to get it installed :(

It could be me missing something

Does anyone know of an easy to install piece of software to do some basic accounting?

    Thanks in advance ;)

Are you meaning something like home accounting software or something that's used to balance professional books?

If the former, maybe Quicken or QuickBooks?

I really think it depends on what you plan on doing accounting wise.

Gnucash is good program and I use it on a G4 Cube & iMac G4, so it'll work. What problems were you seeing with it?

I cannot get it to open at all...... probably more me than the program.

Downloaded it and extracted it to Apps folder but that is it.
