Hi,

Can the ACD be used with anything other than just my MBP? I have a 360 and PS3 and wondering if I can hook them up/if they would be good quality with it?

The problem I have is I have bought a MBP and want a big screen for it. I've looked at Samsungs and a few others but I'm anal on everything looking the same, so it has to be Apple. However after spending that kind of money I would like to think I can use it for other things rather than just my mbp.

Also, does anyone think the design of the ACD is better than the iMac overall? I was close to getting an iMac that's all.

The response rate on the screens are 16m/s, so it wouldnt be the best gaming screen for the money. You can get super picky about panels but I have an LG 22" with VGA and DVI input and its great. Also Dell do a couple of good screens. Im sure some of the more knowledgeable guys here will give their 2 cents.

i believe the ACD has 14ms response time. at that speed gaming is fine in my opinion. i would look into getting both a tv and a display. the reason being is tv's arent made to be computer screens and vice versa. you encounter problems when you try and use them as such. so try and find a 20"+ display and a tv. you can probably keep the whole purchase under $1000.
