ACD too bright...

This may sound weird, but my ACD is way too bright, it's hurting my eyes. Yes, it's the lowest setting. Anyway to get around this? It's the same when hooked up to the MBP or to the PPC Mini. 😕

It was set to the default Cinema Display. I calibrated with the "expert mode" and it's abit better now.

Sometimes I think mine's too bright, too-- control*option*apple- 8 does the trick temporarily.

Attached is my colour profile, if any who can help me. It's abit better than before, but I like to set it lower when I've worked for a few hours.

Download this. It "reduces" the brightness of the display by playing with the way OS X renders it's output. I use it nightly because I too find desktop LCD's too bright.

Excellent app!

I find the ACD too bright as well so that's just made my day. I just wish it would keep the settings without having to minimize the app to get it out of the way.
