I have a late 2013 13" rMBP (with Thunderbolt 2), and I recently purchased an Acer B276hk. I bought a displayport to mini-displayport cable to plug my rMBP into it as well, and on Amazon the cable is listed as displayport 1.2.
However, when I plug in the monitor, it only runs at 30Hz, significantly slower than what my rMBP runs at.
I've gone into the monitor settings using the buttons on the monitor and selected Displayport 1.2, but when I go to the "Info" at the bottom it says:
Main Source: DP
3840x2160 @ 30Hz
H: 67KHz V: 30Hz
Which given the second line seems to confirm my suspicions that it's not actually running at 60Hz.
What am I doing wrong? Does anyone have this monitor (or any of its sibling monitors) and a late 2013 13" rMBP that they've had a similar experience with? Or just any suggestions?
