I've been looking at this monitor to couple up with my first generation macbook (which has the GMA950 graphics chipset).

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-P223W-...n-Monitor/dp/B000VPG18E/ref=pd_sbs_ce_title_4

I was wondering if anyone either has one with a first generation macbook and can confirm that it can be run at it's full resolution with the graphics chipset, or know for sure that it will (or won't).

Many thanks.

i cant confirm it, but im 90% sure it could as ive heard macbooks can support displays up to 30'' so im guessing you should be ok.

ps check out ebuyer.com, slightly cheaper monitors, if you're intrested.

Already have, but i've had a lot of trouble with Ebuyer in the past year, so I tend to avoid them now. :D

You're fine running that monitor.

Considering an iBook could...

Brilliant, thanks a lot. :)
