Hello everyone.

Right now my rMBP is driving an external 4k monitor @52hz thanks to SwitchResX. The late 2013 13" rMBP can only achieve 4k@30hz officially, so I am very grateful for the guide I found. It massively improved my headaches, which were unpleasant while on 30hz.

To achieve 4k@52hz I am using a miniDP-DP cable. The monitor (Samsung LU32R591) has a DP and an HDMI ports.

This got me thinking... Is there a way to connect both a miniDP-DP cable and an HDMI-HDMI cables from the same mac to the same monitor? And maybe achieve that 4k@60hz I keep dreaming of?

I tried connecting both cables and, through Samsung's PBP function, I can split my monitor in 2. But that is not the idea, I have to merge those somehow. Is this possible?

Thank you so much!
