Ack.. unhiding all files in finder made all files greyed.

I applied this little "hack" from here and it seems like even the non hidden files appear to be greyed out in finder now.

Surely that must be some bug in Tiger? Cos it didn't happen in the screenshot taken by the author. Is there a more official and proper way to make hidden files appear in finder?

Onyx has the ability to do it. Other programs like Onyx. Or you could use Terminal
