Hi all..

While there are several ways to identify songs/tracks, iTunes Match uses some of these, but is "Acoustic fingerprint" scanning much better in offline software for successful identifying ? eg MusicBrainz etc..

I'm looking for more reliable software than iTunes, or maybe a combination of 3
different software for this, since iTunes fails for the most part (because of lack of ID tags)

Does all software still use ID3 tags as a "source" then goes from there ? If so, then if ID3 tags are missing, then regardless of what software u use it will never pull up accurate info..

Is this true? or are there "other" ways instead of scanning ID info ?
