Acrobat 7

I just recently upgraded to Acrobat 7, and I'm having a hell of a problem with instability. Every time I use the program, it seems to beachball and then crash on me! I'm not even doing anything extensive with it yet (just reading .pdf files at the moment). I upgraded to 7.0.1 last night, but it didn't seem to help anything. Anyone having this problem or can offer suggestions?

P.S. I did the repair permissions and all the standard stuff, no luck.

Acrobat Professional 7 works fine. It continues to work fine after I updated to 7.0.1.

Perhaps, you need to run the periodic maintenance tasks. To do this, download and run MacJanitor or OnyX. If the periodic tasks don't do the trick for you, you may also try restarting in single-user mode and run fsck -fy from the command prompt. This fixes problems caused by damage to your file system.

That would be my guess as well, and they are not always easy to track down.
