Acrobat 8 Crashes with Double Sided Scanning

Hi,

Acrobat works ok for other tasks, but crashes at the end of an attempted double sided scan. I reinstalled Acrobat and my scanner software with the latest updates, to no effect.

MBP Penryn 4GB
OS X 10.5.2
Acrobat 8.1.2
Epson Perfection 4490
Epson Scan 3.03A

Double sided scanning crashes 10.5.2 for me too

Using Acrobat 8 Pro.
Brother MFC 7820N Scanner.
Bummer.
