Acrobat reader alternatives

Hi guys

Just a quick question, I need to edit a few PDFs a month, edit text add my digital signature etc but really don't see the point in spending the money adobe ask, its just crazy.

So my question, is there any suggestions you can offer towards different apps available that would suit my basic needs.

Have you tried the Preview app that comes with OS X? It can sometimes do everything you ask for simple edits, and adding signatures...

I see that folks that need to edit PDFs usually look at PDFpen first. MUCH less than Acrobat Pro.
You can also try Skim. It's free, and may also fit your needs.

I use & recommend PDFpen. It is cheaper than Adobe Acrobat and it will do the things you listed and more.

PDF Expert has high ratings.

That would be full Acrobat then, not the reader.
