Can you give us a hint of how many questions are there? And how long will the exam be.
For each of the exams I've taken (10.9, 10.10, and 10.11) there are 80 questions. Passing Grade is between 73% and 75%, depending on the exam you're taking (10.11 was 73%, while 10.9 was 75%).
I Will be taking the exam either in san francisco or san diego 2nd week of june. Can anyone recommend a good testing centre? Hopefully i can get over with the jetlag as it will be a 14hrs flight.
There is only one company that is an AATC in the San Francisco area: V2 Consulting. They have offices in the San Francisco CBD, and in Milpitas/Santa Clara. If you're flying into SFO, the one in the city will be closest (though the location and parking is a bear). If you're flying into SJC, you'll have easier access to that one, but is further from San Francisco.
Either way, you'll definitely have to schedule in advance. They mainly operate out of Milpitas, and would send someone up to the SFO office to proctor the exam. If you're going to go to SFO, I'd definitely recommend resting before taking it. If you're coming across from 14 hours (that puts you at Japan/Australia.. It's 11 hours to Auckland; I've flown that), you'll definitely need to sleep off that lag.
Where are you coming in from?
If i fail do i have a second chance to retake it? And for how many days i will have to wait to be able to retake the exam again?
If you fail, you have to wait at least 7 days to take it again.
Been practising the reviseIT app and getting always a passing score. I also been reading slowly and understanding the acsp book from peachpit - hopefully those two above would be enough for me to pass. I have been a mac user for a long time but never had taken any support apple certifications.
Those are exactly what I did, but don't get hung up on the ReviseIT exam; it is great for reference, but the questions on the actual exam are not worded the same way as they are on that app; If you used the iLearn app in combination with ReviseIT, you'll get a better feel for not only the questions on the exam, but also how the questions
are worded on the exam. Bear in mind that the iLearn app does have in-app purchases, so it's up to you on getting full functionality.
