How do you get it to appear horizontal?

I didn't do anything. In Shortcuts, I have a folder called "Action Button" that I have 8 shortcuts stored in. I have the action button open that folder. It will only allow 8 shortcuts. If I have more in the folder, the last ones drop off.

I have set up action button to open menu with different actions too.
However it is annoying that you have to wake up screen first before clicking the action button for the menu to open. This bug has been there since ios 18.

I’m not sure that’s a bug. Didn’t they do that to prevent pocket activation? They did that with the camera button too.

Could be. As a ”workaround” I can add small delay in the beginning of the shortcut and then it works just by straight holding action button.
