Silent mode for now, waiting for hopefully getting a long press short press option.
How do you guys silent mode if you pick something else for the action button.
👉Swipe down from the top right corner and tap the "Bell" icon. Done. 👍

Mute.
Camera is on the Lock Screen and Home Screen so I don’t feel the need to dedicate a button to it. Plus I switch my phone on and off silent mode pretty often, so I like the physical switch rather than using the control center.
This. I don't have issues with accessing the camera quickly. Mute switch is definitely more useful for me. So I suppose the action button won't be getting much action!
I used to have all these different ringtones and text tones for people, well, I guess I still do, but I haven’t heard them for years! As soon as I got an Apple Watch (series 4 year), it went on mute, and I haven’t heard a peep since. So far just have it set to open the camera. I find it interesting the number of people who keep their phones on silent 24/7. I like hearing my sounds I have set for different ppl when they text
This is amazing, can you share how to set this up? And we can do the same thing on the Ultra as well?Just like the Action Button on my Apple Watch Ultra, I decided it was dumb to limit it to just one action.
I have the actions listed in reverse order of priority, because it turns out with the size of the phone that items farther down the list are easier to get to one-handed.

Mines always on mute, only needs to vibrate as my Apple Watch tells me who is calling or messaging. Same with my Fold 5. (Obviously not the Apple Watch)So far just have it set to open the camera. For the Ultra, I modified the menu shortcut from a zdnet article I found awhile ago. Then for the iPhone, I duplicated that shortcut, deleted stuff specific to the Apple Watch, and added stuff specific to the iPhone. This is amazing, can you share how to set this up? Orientation lock is a good one!Orientation mode lock for now. I keep it locked most of the time, but need to unlock it to watch videos usually.
If I understood shortcuts better, I would make it send the Yes Chef gif from The Bear to my wife every time I press the button. Would save me a ton of time.

Camera button. Ready to snap photos of my kids at any moment. What have you mapped yours to?
I feel like I need some inspiration as I want to use it for something other than a mute switch!
I like this a lot. Just quickly assembled the below. Will be chopped and changed a lot I’d imagine. For the Ultra, I modified the menu shortcut from a zdnet article I found awhile ago.
