action?

whilst having my iPhone In portrait mode and on the BBC sports page, having left my finger lingering on the right hand side(near scroll bar) a bubble popped off stating "action". The screen also dimmed slightly , any one know why?

Its a rather common Java script thing. Nothing new and means nothing.
