I am getting the in-laws and my father iPod Touches for Christmas. They will be visiting us, and I would like to be able to activate/register their devices before they leave so they can use them. Can I activate the iPod Touch on my Mac by logging into their iTunes account on my Mac? Thanks.

i think you can just activate them without an itunes account at all, even if you cant, if you just plug the ipod touch to the computer it should instantly activate, if you need an account you can just use your own, nothing from your account is saved on it and when they get home to their own computer it will wipe and sync with their own computer.

yeah you can activate their account on your Mac. I do it all the time. Make sure you are logged into their account before you plug the iPod in. iTunes will back up their iPod to your drive.

If you try purchasing anything, unplug it and just use the Apps store.
