Hey guys sorry for the redundancy here but I was researching most of last night to figure out how to do this. I'm sure other people are in the same boat!

I purchased a Verizon iPhone X from Apple online using my wife's credentials, all accounts are fully paid up and I paid full price for the phone. I'm getting conflicting posts on what I should do to activate and use the phone on my AT&T account.

Some people are saying to leave the verizon sim in the phone, activate with the the same credentials and then put my AT&T SIM in there. This sounds good but then someone else said that my wife's current phone will stop working because I have activated her "upgrade" phone SIM. Is this true?

Another person said to just put my AT&T SIM in there from the beginning and activate the phone using the verizon credentials but then the phone is locked to AT&T. I can obviously request an unlock code.

I basically want to activate the phone and use my AT&T SIM without disrupting my wife's service. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance!
