Activating cellular for one month

Hi, I’m a new series 4 owner and I was forced in to buying a cellular equipped one since I wanted a stainless steel model. I was wondering if it was possible to activate cellular with Verizon (my carrier) for one month while I’m on vacation out west, or if Verizon locks you in for a year or gets you with huge activation fees or whatever.

Last time that I checked, you could do it month by month at least from your Verizon account page.

Careful. Once you cancel and try to reactivate they will nail you with a $25 activation fee. 🙁
They have all the angles covered.

Oh, if you have ‘t activated LTE before, Verizon gives you 3 months data free I believe.

Unfortunately, that promo ended a long time ago. Now, if you buy a watch directly from Verizon they'll give you a free month.
