Activating iPhone 4 with Pay As You Go SIM?

Okay, my girlfriend gave me her upgrade, so I ordered an iPhone 4 under her account from the AT&T website (currently backordered 😡), and I plan on using my Pay As You Go SIM with it, my question is about the first initial activation of the iPhone 4 when its fresh out the box, so do I need to activate the phone with the original "upgraded" account info (SSN, ZIP code, etc.) or can I do everything with just my Pay As You Go SIM? If I activate the phone with her info, that means her original mini SIM in her current 3g will be deactivated and I would have to call AT&T to reactivate her mini SIM in order for her to have a phone, Im just trying to find the easiest route, help is appreciated, thanks group.

You can't use a iPhone 4 with pay as you go; you have to go for an iPhone plan plus a data plan. There's no way around this with AT&T.
