Activation taking too long? pop sim out and in

My activation was taking over an hour so i decided to pop the sim in and out. When it when back in, it immediately activated. Maybe this trick will help others.

what worked for me was plugging mine into iTunes. was waiting 45mins before i did. rebooting a few never worked.

What worked for me was to call AT&T
It took over an hour at first.
Call them, a rep told me that supposedly Apples servers are slammed and to wait a half hour.
Still nothing, called an hour later and talked to someone that knew what they were doing finally and got it activated within a few minutes.
