My activation was taking over an hour so i decided to pop the sim in and out. When it when back in, it immediately activated. Maybe this trick will help others.

What worked for me was to call AT&T 😀
It took over an hour at first.
Call them, a rep told me that supposedly Apples servers are slammed and to wait a half hour.
Still nothing, called an hour later and talked to someone that knew what they were doing finally and got it activated within a few minutes.
