Activity app December Challenge not registering

Hey everyone

Just a quick question, my Activity app/watch doesn't register that I've completed the December challenge (achieving the stand goal x number of times). Is it meant to be awarded immediately after it's been achieved, or is it awarded at the start of next year?
wOS 4.2 1st gen, on iOS 11.2 7+ if needed

When did you meet the requirement? I’d expect it to trigger before the end of the month, but not immediately when you meet the requirement.

I actually met the requirement a couple of days ago (my November was rather quiet!)
Yeah I was thinking that, although in the badges section it days I achieved only 3 out of 4 when I achieved like 8 already so I have no idea

My extra goal was to meet my move goal 8 times in December. I completed it on the 8th, but it didn’t award until the 10th.
