Is there any way to have another source to input steps into the Activity app? I have a Withings Go to track sleep and to put in my pocket during activities when I can't have my Apple Watch on my wrist. These steps make it into the Health app, but not the Activity app (on my phone).

The Withings Go is made to be on the wrist so the algorithms won't be accurate in your pocket. However you can just add it as a source (probably using the Withings app) in the Health app and place it below the :apple:Watch. Also your iPhone (6 or newer) will track your steps from your pocket.

Julien, thanks for the reply. Although I have not researched the algorithm used, the Withings Go does have a setting within the Withings app to change the wear to pocket from wrist. However, after having the Withings Go for some time, my question is more about getting activity into the Activity app on my phone. Is the Apple Watch the only possible source? I currently have it setup to send data to the health app but I'm wondering if I can send data to the Activity app using a source other than my watch.

I am a basketball referee and we cannot wear anything on our wrist during games, thus the need to have something in my pocket.

I stand corrected then and the Withings Go is 'pocket' ready. You must have the Withings app installed on your iPhone. In the iPhone Health app click the Sources tab at the bottom and select Withings. Then Allow Withings to Write Data and with Steps switched On. Then in Health Data tab go to Steps and click Data Sources & Access> Data Sources: Withings should be listed. (Step) Sources will be listed in order of preference (if using :apple:Watch it won't use Withings Go). Your :apple:Watch should be first and then your iPhone. Withings should be below.

Right, but can there be another source for the Activity app other than the watch?

Sorry, you can't have your Withings Go pair to the Activity app and sync step data. Only to Health.
