Activity app metric units

I've noticed that although my phone is set to display distances in metric (I live in the UK and prefer metric over imperial measurements), bot the watch and the activity app seem to be reporting everything in miles.

Any idea where/how to change it?

I prefer imperial measurements and was disappointed to find that I had to enter my height/weight measurements in metric units. I would prefer to enter/show my measurements in imperial units but I can't see an option to change this?
