Activity App Not Giving Achievements

Sorry if this has been posted before, but about two weeks ago, the Activity App didn't give me a "Longest Streak" Achievement, even though I'd completed my Move goal. Ever since then, I haven't gotten any Achievement badges at all. Not for longest workout, or perfect week, or perfect month. 🙁

I've tried restarting the watch, and unpairing and repairing the watch. Anybody has any ideas on what else I can try?

Very strange...mine seems to still provide the achievements but it has been strange at times. I just got the Month 6 badge but it showed a blank one next to it...then about an hour later the one next to it changed to Month 7...so it kinda fixed itself. I also notice some times when I open the app on the iPhone it isn't syncing with the watch...meaning, the watch will be far ahead by an hour or two...opening and closing the app doesn't do anything sometimes either...so...definitely some strange behavior on the activity app for me too, just not to the extent of what you're mentioning, sorry to hear that.

Yes, I've had that syncing delay problem too. I find that opening the health app and forcing it to update the heartrate info sometimes forces the Activity app to sync the data.

But my problem may be related to the syncing delay, because it all started one day when I hadn't been very active and reached my Move goal just before midnight. I got the message on my watch that I had reached my Move goal, but went to bed without checking to see if the data had synced to my phone. Next day I got up and the Move circle was closed in my Activity app, but no Move Streak badge. Then I didn't get a Perfect Week badge that Sunday. I thought, okay, there was a hiccup with that one day, I'll get a Perfect Week badge next Sunday. But nope. And no Longest Workout badge either, even though I completed a longer workout than any I've done before.

Damn, that's very strange. That sucks, I can understand your frustration, I'm addicted to completing those rings now...

Have you reported this to the Apple site? I'm going to log a complaint on it as well, figure the more that speak out the better chance it gets fixed.

Good idea, I'll go report it.

And yes, those rings are addictive! I can still fill up the circles, but the achievement badges were a nice extra. 🙁 🙁

I did too.

Yeah, there's no reason you shouldn't be receiving the badges...those should be pretty simple coding just triggered by the rings readings... so there's likely some other thing messing with it in there to "jam" it up somehow... hopefully they find a way to fix it.

Check out the two screenshots below... my main screen shows all rings filled, the stand screen shows 12 of 12 standing...yet it wouldn't update the circle...this had started happening from the point where it stopped, I checked at 7, 9, 11, and 12 and the ring hadn't moved... So there are likely a number of bugs there...wonder if restarting the watch does anything to help "reboot" this or your issue as well...

The same thing happened to me. I spent hours online with Apple and they couldn't fix it. I eventually had to unpair it, then roll back my phone to a backup from when it was working, and then repair. That seemed to do the trick, though it was a pain.

Didn't work just this one time.

It filled out on the iPhone app, just not on the individual scree on the watch for some reason...so strange...I hit the goal and it gave me the notification on it but the ring just froze in that position and never filled... Today it seems to be working again as usual...LOL, something happens at midnight when these things refresh! But, yeah, they need to fix the bugs in this thing along with the accuracy of the distance tracking...

Yep got 4 badges total with my perfect week yesterday.

There are some very challenging badges near the bottom! Yikes!

If this happens again, force close the Activity app on the watch.
With the Activity app running and showing on your Watch screen ~
1. Press and Hold the Side Button until you see the Power Off/Reserve/Lock Screen window.
2. Now again press and hold the Side Button and this will in turn Force Close the Activity app.
3. Reload the app and see if it has repaired the error.

What was the resolution for this did it just fix itself. I have the same exact thing going on right now. Did you eventually get all the badges you should have?

It's August and the issue started Sunday again - when it only showed that I'd had a full week of exercise and stand, not move. AND no Move Longest Streak. Last recognition I had was Saturday the 6th. I guess I'll wait to see if tomorrow morning the missing achievements appear before I un pair. I've found sometimes in the past that Monday night into Tuesday some sort of reconciliation happens although the move streaks have lost a day. I have two watches and I figure changing which one the iPhone is paired with is similar to pairing/un pair - Don't know why all of a sudden no achievement recondition is happening. FRUSTRATING.
