Is there any way to get steps from the activity app?

The Health App sync and display is painfully slow. My wife already crashed the app as well.

Some of us have jobs that have step based competitions this Spring or step based health rewards.

Yes total daily steps are at the bottom of the activity app.

You can also see the number of step in the activity screen on your Apple watch. If you have the shortcut on your watch face, just click that, then scroll down with the wheel and it will show you how many steps and distance you have gone.

Do you have to be carrying the phone with you for the watch to record number of steps? If I leave my phone somewhere and walk around, the watch says 0 steps.
Or do you have to have a workout active for it to start counting steps or something?

I woke 3 hours ago ... I think I'm doing alright with my activity for the day#

Activity app showing inaccurately

My Fitbit shows 500 steps today - activity app shows 62.

Sigh:eek:
