Activity Competition complete but not badge

I have just completed a 7-day activity competition against a friend (and won!).
I had the congratulations animation and notification on my watch but opening the Activity app on the iPhone to see your Award collection shows I haven't done anything with 2 badge silhouettes.

The Competition badge says 'earn this award when you finish a 7- day competions against a friend...' which I did
The Victory over badge is also empty saying 'win your 7-day competiont agastin 'name''

Has anyone experienced this?

Same behavior for me as well. Won a few Competitions yesterday, but havent gotten the badges yet.

If the badges don't show up after few days, try to turn off both iPhone and AW, and turn on the iPhone first then turn on the AW.
For me, it worked and actually corrected some wrongly registered badges.

The activity app is all kind of screwed up in iOS 12 to the point I’m actually surprised they allowed it to ship in the state they did, things eventually show up.
