I have a Nike Series 4 watch and I’ve noticed a 5-10 second lag when checking my rings. It doesnt happen all the time but occurs throughout the day.

I have no other issues with the watch other than this. I’ve tried unpairing and repairing with the same results.

Anyone else experience this?

Thanks for the responses. I never experienced this lag with my series 2 watch...only since upgrading to the series 4

My S3 did same thing. Not sure about my series 0 as I wasn't doing any exercise back then. And if I do a workout on something that writes data to the Health app, like my Peloton bike, it can take a few minutes even for the rings to catch up.

My understanding is that there is some compute going on. The watch does not want to count each bump it receives because it may not be a step. I don’t know the degree of complexity of the algorithm, but i do know there is some filtering going on.
