upscaled 1080p actual res is 1125 x 2436 and its 458ppi vs iphone 8 plus 1080x1920 401ppi
No, 1440p is QHD. But yes, the iPhone X would be suited for 2K content since its resolution exceeds the dimensions set forth by the Digital Cinema Initiative.
