Wait, isn’t Wipr maintained by Giorgio Calderolla anymore? I’m reading the head of the project is… Kaylee Calderolla? His daughter? I don’t understand…

Edit: after doing a little bit of research, understanding how Italian ID and fiscal code number works, I came to the realization that the dev I once knew as Giorgio is now Kaylee. She apparently changed her gender. But I’m happy she’s still providing support to her awesome ad-blocker!

Wiper 2 was just released. One time payment, no subscriptions. It's a universal app for use on any iDevice or Mac.

Looks like it blocks more than just ads now; I visited multiple ad-blocker test sites and it didn't have any issues blocking everything.
Yeah, I purchased it as soon as it launched, but I haven’t tested it yet. I’m reinstalling some devices and I’ll install Wipr 2 instead.

Meanwhile, I use a combination of AdGuard Home (a better Pi-Hole) in my LAN and 1Blocker on my iPhone when I’m out of town. I still see YouTube ads, so I imagine that Vinegar would make sense especially to fix this.
Were you still seeing YouTube ads on Safari or on the YouTube app? What do you personally use for DNS-blocking and which ad blocking app(s) do you use now on iOS and MacOS?
