Does Wipr block youtube ads? Adblock Plus does that now in Safari. Also, could I not keep both Wipr and Adblock Plus running in tandem or would that cause issues?

I like the ad blockers app but every so often I would unblock that site in the white list. I tried to push the add but it doesn't work. Can anybody help me please?

No... Wipr does not work with Chrome.

You would need to pay the $1.99 to purchase Wipr.

Get the newest version 6 of Cookie.

I'm not seeing YT ads with Wipr
Think this will be my first Mac specific purchase in the app store :) Thanks for commenting back.

I don’t think That wipr can block yt ads as no Adblocker without Special VPN can
I used Adblock Pro I think its called. Its a free ad blocker in the Mac store and I see no ads on YouTube with it.

If you like using Chrome I would recommend Brave browser. It has Adblock and HTTPS everywhere built in and you can add the extension CookieAutoDelete to manage cookies for free. It also has an IOS app so you can sync bookmarks etc as well.

Macos is different to iOS as there is no YouTube App. On iOS yt app you can’t stop ads
You can block them at the DNS level I use nextdns.io to block them in the app if im going to watch a long video and don't want constant interruptions.

Wipr and AdGuard both block ads on YouTube in Safari on macOS and iOS. I refuse to use the YouTube app specifically because of ads.

Personally I favour Ghostery. free and very effective and also stops trackers dead in the water. Also use Adblock Plus and never had any problems with both active. Both are free.

Ghostery has been caught selling browsing history to ad companies and data brokers. The EFF released Privacy Badger that does the same thing and is open source I also recommend Ublock Origin over Adblock plus for the improved efficiency and its open source as well.

nothing is for free; maybe / just possible that even the blockers, the add on's you install inside your browser are leaky
