Adapter to connect Mini display port 27" Cinema Display to USB-C for the new MBP

Anyone know where to get an adapter to connect my older Apple 27" Cinema Display to the new MBP USB-C ports? The Cinema Display is mini Display port connection. The thunderbolt 2 to 3 cable didn't work.

Works fine with native resolution. You will also need an adapter from mini displayport to displayport:

so they don't make a mini display port > USB C connector at all? have to buy 2 things?

Yes, so far I could not find any which useres have verified to work with the Cinema Display.

Maybe...but it looks very similar to non-mini adapters which people could not use successfully....the Aukey is the one myself and other people had success with...but give it a try and tell me.

Yes, this will work at full resolution and fps, 2560x1440, 60Hz. I'm using the ASL version of the USB-C to mDP adapter (looks exactly the same) right now on my 27" mDP Cinema monitor.
