Not sure if anyone has done this but thought I ask.
I was trying to setup adblocking on Leopard's safari. With the inability to support previous plugins like saft, safariblock, pithhelmet, I thought the only option left was to configure the /etc/hosts file.

I have tried inserting ad server addresses in the hosts files but even that doesnt work. (127.0.0.1 adbrite.com)

With netinfo gone from leopard, i'm wondering if anyone has any work around for this issue?

It works for me if you do it like

127.0.0.1 localhost a.adserver1.com a.adserver2.com etc..
