ADC Student Developer

Hello,

So i just purchased the student developer package from the online apple store. But i haven't got a activation number. Do i have to send in my conformation of being a student for before they send that out. All i got was a e-mail with an order number. An the order doesn't even show up in my account. So do i just fax my conformation in.

any help would be great

So you ordered the thing? Fax in your proof of identification and then Apple will ship you your Developer Connection box with a copy of Leopard and dev software (and a t-shirt!) and then you can use your ADC store discount.
 
But do i have to wait for the box to get the activation number, or do they e-mail it to me

The ADC Student does not get a mailed box like Select and Premier. Once you are activated you can download your disk.


You will receive in email probably in a couple hours/tomorrow with your activation number. Fax in a copy of your Student ID and current or upcoming shedule. For a faster way, scan and email it to devprograms@apple.com and call them up. They will look at it and activate it with you on the phone.

You can do either. Fax takes longer for them to go through.

The disk for Student is now only online - and not mailed.

So i faxed in my conformation of a student on Thursday. I was just wondering how do you know when u can order with the hardware discount, and where do you go to order it. Is there somewhere that you have to login so that u can get the discounts?

Will they ship out Leopard Snow to developer when it launch.
I remember last time i got the new Leopard as it is just announced to the market

I love the ADC student discount. however they just have a one per lifetime hardware discount.

So i would click the link where it say all other participants can order from here. Is this right?
 
Thanks for all the help guys!! Just one more question. With the student developer package you can only use it once right?
 
How much of a discount do you get being part of student developer package? I'm looking to purchase the a Mac Pro when they are released.
 
I am sorry i keep asking question, but i find this is the best place to get answers. With the student developer package you get a download of a mac OS. Can you download that anytime within that year?
