How do i go about adding a shortcut to the applications to the dock. I would like it to list them when I click on the folder.

Thanks

Drag the Applications folder from Finder to the right side of the Dock.

Then, a left click will open Applications in a Finder window, while a right click will open a contextual menu with the list of applications.

Drag the folder down near the trash can NOT IN IT THOUGH, near the stacks would be and you maybe able to create a short cut

Edit: Damn you guys get on this s**t fast 😀

You could drag and drop your Apps folder onto the right hand side of the dock and set it up as a Stack – then click on the icon and select List view from the pop up menu.

Thanks for the many quick reply's. I have it in my dock now but it looks just like my address book icon, any way to make it look like the applications folder?

Edit: I figured it out just change from stack to folder.

Right-click on it and change it from Stack to Folder. Then you can change the folder icon to whatever you want.

False start, false start... penalty!

ggjstudios is still awarded the win on that one!

I don't really care who gets the points, as long as dukebound85 doesn't make us do 100 push-ups for being too slow in responding! 😀
