Add Calendar to Unlock Screen?

I noticed in this video on YouTube that someone has put a month-view calendar on their unlock screen. I've been searching for a while today, and I can't figure out how they did that.

Can anyone enlighten me?

you could always have a picture of the current month as your background ... it takes some work.. but its free and no hacking required
