Add hyperlink shortcut in Leopard Mail?

Adding hyperlinks neatly in Mail is a real 🙁 drag 🙁 if the only way is to mouse to Edit>Link>Add...

Is there a hidden shortcut or a way to make one?
 
You can create a custom keyboard shortcut at System Preferences --> Keyboard & Mouse --> Keyboard Shortcuts.
