Hello everyone,

Can someone who has had the privilege to try out the new OSX let me know what they think about the Preview in that version? I work with PDF documents quite frequently, so it is really important for me that Preview is working well.

In particular, when you click Add Text, are you able to draw your own textbox now (like you were back in Mavericks), or does Preview still create a textbox for you (like in Yosemite)?

Thanks in advance!

click Add Text
I don't have a button like that but I do get a box with "Text" inside written in red when I go Tools > Annotate > Text. I might be missing your toolbar. It seems like they are using the Yosemite way going froward.

No, It looks like they keep the Yosemite method. I also don't like this. Especially when drawing shapes. You used to be able to draw the box or arrow like you wanted. Now they place the object and you have to modify that object.
