I updated my Ipod Touch to 2.0
I updated my Itunes to 7.7
All was fine until both upgrades. Syncing was transparent and 100%.
Now I can no longer sync my Outlook 2003 calendar.
Please chime in.
I can chime in, but all I can add is empathy. I got my new Touch last Saturday and have been having nothing but aggravation with it since. I use a Blackberry Curve and a Dell Axim, both of which sync flawlessly with my Outlook 2003 Calendar each and every time right out of the box. The Touch syncs everything else correctly (including the address book, so I know it's finding the Outlook file) but refuses to sync with the Calendar even though it shows it in the Info tab of iTunes.
The Touch synced with the Calendar on my office computer, which is running the same version of Outlook, but not my home computer, both MS Windows XP PCs. I went through the settings of both Outlooks and tried to make sure they were the same. But, alas, nothing I changed made a difference.
Apple tech support was useless on this, having only the same data sheet recommendations I already had found on the internet and tried, to no avail, even including deleting and re-installing iTunes. The tech didn't even know of the problem and had to speak to a supervisor first. So is it true of the Geniuses at the Apple store here.
I am astoundingly amazed that Apple does not have a simple fix for this problem and fails to address it seriously.
If anyone comes up with a good method, please let us know. I'll await the 2.1 software which I believe is in the works, but it's not guaranteed it will address this problem.
