added memory slowed macbook down.

my early 09 macbook came with 2g ram. i bought 2 sticks of samsung 2g to up my ram to 4, but system seems to run slower. any suggestions?

How do you know it's slower? Did you check to make sure the 4 GB is registered? If so, do a pram reset.

Are you sure the memory was installed correctly? Does the System Profiler recognize all the RAM you installed?

Apple uses Samsung ram usually.
