I want to replace my 2gb of RAM and add 4gb of ram to my macbook pro unibody 15 inch

Just because RAM is so cheap now i found RAM for this laptop for 4GB for $45.

BUT the thing is i heard that with snow leopard, less of the RAM will be used , so it will be like you have more RAM then usual.

Is this true? (That with snow leopard will use less RAM)

More RAM is always a good thing. And can you provide the link to that RAM? that's an awesome price! 🙂 Thanks

pretty sure it doesn't but i spose i could be wrong, idk maybe if its not apple own memory but somehow i doubt it

upgrading your RAM does not void the warrenty on the computer. but if your RAM fails it is not covered by apple care. same thing if you upgrade your HD.
