I purchased a Broadcom BCM94321MC mini-PCI card from a Dell laptop (same as the one in the 802.11b/g/n iMac 5,1) for my iMac last night.

The 4,1 only comes with one Wi-Fi antenna. The iMac 5,1 has a left and right antenna.

My question: Which one do I need to complete the set in my iMac? The left or right? I don't want to have to take my iMac apart just to find it out the hard way if someone knows, I hope! :)

Thank you!

Checked the service manual, answered my own question.

The iMac 4,1 lacks the right antenna. Got one on eBay for $10 shipped. 922-7766 is the Apple part number.

Thank you

This post answered my questions on how to do this, mostly.

How do you hook up and route the second antenna?

What resource did you use to figure all of that out?

I'm replacing a power supply in my 4,1 and upgrading to the T7200 at the same time and figured I would get 802.11n as well.

Any tips or resources you could suggest would be great.
