Adding a line during the pre-order

My dad is a longtime verizon customer, and is planning on adding a line for me so that I can pre-order the phone when it comes out. Is that possible to do? His line is eligible for an upgrade but isn't sure if he wants an iphone and will wait to see mine.

Can this be done (adding a line at the time of pre-order to get a subsidized price on a new line), and if so, can it be done on apple.com or better on verizon.com?

You can do it on apple.com when you pre-order your phone. You'll need the account owner's info (their phone number, zip code, and last four of their SSN).
