I have stated in other threads owning a Samsung 1st generation watch and the down falls. Im expecting the Apple Watch to have some of these as well. Looking forward to receiving my watch tomorrow, but dreading the necessity of having the phone close for many apps.

With the ability to be without the phone for Apple pay, music and activity tracker Apple is leaps and bound ahead of first release mistakes of Samsung. However, in order to pull in a larger customer base will the SIM card be an up and coming add on Apple will consider??

Many of my co-workers have stated I have a phone why do I need a watch that requires my phone to access most apps.

Im hoping a watch with a Sim Card will be coming soon for true freedom from the phone when needed.

I'm fine with iPhone tethering for the time being. Don't really want to add another data plan to my account. $$.
