Has anyone used the OCZ Vertex 4 in a 2011 MacBook Pro? I am curious to find out what kind of read/write speeds you have experienced and has it been a reliable drive. Please let me know of your thoughts.

I have not used a 2011 MBP; but, I did install a Vertex 4 in my 2012 MBP. I'm experiencing no issues with the latest 1.4.1.3 firmware.

Hi there,

Could I ask how you upgraded it?
Did you use the Linux CD boot disk?

Regards,
Simon

I used the OCZTools Linux boot cd. Wifi and touch pad didn't work in the boot environment. You need to use the alt-tab menu and plug in an ethernet cable.
