Adding Apple Store gift card to passbook?

I cannot get my apple store gift card into passbook or anywhere on my phone. Ive been looking around for help but couldn't find any. Anyone know the steps to do this?

From a post on Apple forum LINK:

Peeling off the seal on the back of the Apple Store Gift Card reveals a QR code alongside a letter code, like that which appears on iTunes Gift cards.

Open the Passbook app and tap the plus sign in the upper right corner to add the card. You may have to swipe down on existing passes/cards to reveal the plus sign.

Tap on the lower "Passes" panel and aim the camera viewfinder at the QR code, and it will read it. It won't read the letter code.​

I don't have a physical card to try out - let me know if it works.

Its not an itunes card, its an apple store gift card.

The Apple forum post states it works for Apple Store Gift cards - like I said, I don't have a physical one to check out. If you don't have a QR code on the physical card, you may be able to use the Gyft app - instructions are in a different part of the thread that I linked to in my earlier response.
