Adding applecare+ to iPhone over the phone

    To anyone who has added AppleCare+ to their iPhone via calling them on the phone rather than purchasing in store or at the time of your iPhone order: what is it like? Do you talk to a person or a automated system? I know they run a diagnostic check, do they just send you an iMessage with a link?

    You talk to a real person who sends you a message with a link. You run the diagnostic and they take your payment information. Very simple. No more than 5 minutes.
